Tarlac State University welcomes the month of March with an outpour of purple in support of advocating the advancement on women’s rights and gender equality, and the ending of violence and discrimination against women recognizing their significant contributions in nation-building.
This year’s National Women’s Month Celebration is themed, “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!” which highlights women’s participation in battling the COVID-19 and the gender issues exacerbated by it.
The Gender and Development Office, under the leadership of Dr. Rita Pulmano, has organized online activities to keep the TSU community engaged even during this time of pandemic.
