The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) oversees ten (10) colleges along with support offices such as: Admission and Registration Office, Library Management Services, Student Affairs and Services, National Service Training Program, International Affairs Office, and Alumni Affairs Office. Supported by Deans, Directors, Faculty, and Administrative Staff, the OVPAA works closely with Office of the University President in ensuring the delivery of quality education, review of educational policies and assuring that all academic programs remain accredited by the most reliable accrediting agencies.  

The OVPAA is not only dedicated in carrying its fundamental responsibility and duty for all the academic plans such as program development and assessment, faculty development, and student’s training and learning assessment but also make sure that all the curricular programs of the university have Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from  Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and are accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. And at present, the University is preparing to subject the program offerings under the College of Engineering and Technology for the Philippine Technological Council (PTC) through its Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (ACBET) and Certification and Accreditation System for Engineering Education (CASEE) patterned after the Washington Accord, and the computing education program offerings such as Information Technology and Information Systems of the College of Computer Studies for the Seoul Accord.  

Though we are facing an unprecedented time, at Tarlac State Universitywe never allow this pandemic to deter us to continuously strive towards excellence and remain faithful to our commitment to deliver quality education through various teaching – learning platforms in order to reach our students and together achieve academic and institutional quality.
