TSU joins national campaign to end Violence Against Women  

Tarlac State University joins to support the annual 18-day campaign of the Philippine Commission on Women to end violence against women and children in a ceremonial kick-off with the theme "VAW-Free Community Starts with Me" earlier today, December 1, 2020.

From November 25 to December 12, activities will be held to raise awareness that VAWC (Violence Against Women and Children) is still a pervasive issue of national concern. This supports our government's goal to protect the human rights of women and its commitment to address all forms of gender-based violence.

This campaign is organized by the TSU-Gender and Development Office led Dr. Rita E. Pulmano under the Office of Vice President for Research and Extension Services led by Dr. Armee N. Rosel. [Jodie Andrea Pangilinan]
