BSIT, BSN, BSIS undergo 3rd survey visit, phase 2
Tarlac State University is again subjected to another virtual accreditation by the AACCUP, this time for the 3rd survey visit, phase 2 of BS Information Systems, BS Nursing, and BS Information Technology with an opening meeting held on November 23, 2020.
The three programs were visited in the two mandatory areas, instruction and extension, along with their two areas of choice.
BSIT was be visited as well in the areas of faculty development and library, BSN with licensure examination and faculty development, while BSIS was visited based on their linkages and library.
The virtual presentations for the mandatory and chosen areas were conducted on November 24.
Meanwhile, the closing meeting held on November 25 ended on a positive note where the accreditors held the university's quality assurance process in high regard saying that TSU has maintained its excellence in serving its stakeholders even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The unyielding efforts of the colleges led by deans Dr. Marlon V. Gamido and Prof. Mary Jane N. Rigor under the leadership of university president Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari were recognized by the accreditors.
The accreditors for this survey visit are Prof. Joselito A. Totaan and Prof. Peter R. Rabanal of University of Northern Philippines for the programs BSIT and BSIS, respectively; Ms. Kathleene M. Gonzales of Isabela State University for the three programs' Library Management Systems; and Dr. Rosana Grace B. Delariarte of Western Visayas State University for the BSN.
