Tarlac-based studio raises fund for laptop donation

Memo Prints Studios, a Tarlac-based photography studio, donated a laptop to a TSU accountancy student on Tuesday, August 25, which will be used for flexible learning.

The laptop was given to Frankiel Jerom Lindo, a third year accountancy student, who is a dean’s lister and an editor of The Blaze, student publication the College of Business and Accountancy.

Accountant Darwin Cabanes, studio owner, along with his wife Catherine and two of their staff, coordinated with CBA dean Dr. Jhonel Panlilio on the selection of the recipient.

Lindo’s mother attended the ceremonial awarding held at the TSU Main Campus.

Cabanes and his wife are both TSU alumni while their staff are former TSU students. They organized a fund-raising campaign last July 2020 and the proceeds were used to purchase the device.
