TSU-made face shields distributed to hospitals
Tarlac State University volunteers finished making 250 face shields and were distributed to hospitals around the city.
Tarlac Provincial Hospital, Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital, and Jecsons Medical Center were given 50 pieces of face shields each while Loving Mother General Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Inc. received 20 pieces.
Responding to the request for donations of Capas Task Force COVID-19 which includes safety masks, TSU turned over 50 pieces of face shields to the municipality of Capas.
The remaining 30 pieces were distributed to TSU nurses stationed at the medical clinic, quarantine site staff at the TSU Hotel, security guards, and maintenance personnel.
Ramos General Hospital and Talon General Hospital, also in Tarlac City, were given ten pieces of face shields each on March 27.
