TSU Appoints Additional Values Restoration Officers
TSU president Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari named six faculty and personnel as Values Restoration Officers (VRO) in support of the Council for the Restoration of Filipino Values (CFRV), a Civil Service Commission Accredited Learning and Development institution, which will take effect on the first week of June 2019.
Mr. Roel Alviar, Ms. Rosita Ferrer, Ms. Leah Gray, Prof. Ma. Shinette Morales, Engr. Michelle P. Rivera, and Ms. Wilma Salak were given full authority to function as VROs according to TSU Administrative Order No. 32, dated May 30, 2019.
The newly designated VROs underwent Values Restoration Officers’ Training last April 23-26, 2019 held at the CRFV Training Center in Baguio City.
Given the authority to function as Values Restoration Officers of the University, the six newly designated VROs will join Mr. Marlon Dela Cruz and Ms. Sarah Gonzales who mastered the practice of being VROs in the university, along with three other VROs appointed last March 2019, namely Ms. Gloria L. Prellejera, Mr. Gilbert G. Gonzales, and Ms. Grace N. Rosete.
The 11 VROs are tasked to lead the weekly values discussion during the flag ceremony in the three campuses to ensure the practice of values of the institution.
This call for national transformation aims to show, recognize, and support the weekly action plan proposed by the VROs.
The Civil Service Commission encourages all government institutions to support their program which is a soft approach of the government’s anti-corruption initiatives. [Maria Adelaida D. Calayag, OPA]
