TSU vehicle owners urged to secure 2019 gate pass
The administration of the Tarlac State University reminds members of the university community to secure their 2019 vehicle gate pass in accordance with TSU Memorandum Order No. 85 s. 2018.
“All personnel (faculty, staff, part-timers, lecturers, students) are required to secure their vehicle gate pass which has a validity of one calendar year,” the order says.
The gate pass may be secured from the Business Affairs and Auxiliary Services Office after complying with the following requirements: (1) submission of a duly accomplished application form; (2) submission of a copy of the OR/CR of the vehicle where the gate pass will be placed; and (3) payment of P100 (or another amount as determined by the office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance.
However, according to Dr. Glenard T. Madriaga, Vice President for Administration and Finance, “vehicle owners whose previously submitted supporting documents (OR/CR, etc.) are still valid on the date of the filing of the application for the new gate pass shall not be required to submit the same.”
Personnel with existing gate pass should secure a new one “on or before the first day of February, 2019.”
Personnel vehicles without gate pass will be prevented from entering the TSU campuses, according to the order.
A guest entering the university with a vehicle should secure a temporary gate pass by leaving an identification card with the guard/s on duty. He should return the gate pass before leaving the campus; but in case of loss of the card he will be required to pay P150 to the university cashier. [OPAI]
