Promotions and position reclassifications make Christmas for employees merry  

It is a merry Christmas, indeed, for 24 employees of the Tarlac State University as they are appointed to permanent positions, or promoted to higher ones, or their positions reclassified. Bottom line: they are better off financially or career-wise.

Effective December 13, architect Garry M. Advento, of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, and Vien Jamaica D. Samson, of the College of Public Administration and Governance and of the University Extension and Services Office, are now holders of permanent faculty positions.

During the same period, the following non-teaching personnel were promoted: Winniefe F. Gutierrez, from Accountant II to III; Melodee Ann S. Tabuzo, from Administrative Aide IV to VI; Jenny D. Carbonell, from Administrative Aide III to IV.

Appointed to permanent non-teaching positions were: Melissa M. Benedicto, as Librarian I; Jhoanna Ayen A. Jimenez, Administrative Aide IV; and Gil A. Salvador, Administrative Aide III.

Jalen Ross M. Corpuz and Roderick G. Galutan were appointed to contractual positions of Administrative Aide III and IV, respectively.

The positions of the following non-teaching personnel were reclassified last October 1 as follows: Dr. Rommel M. Hernandez, from Medical Officer II to III; Alegria D. Cura, from Administrative Assistant V to Senior Administrative Assistant; Rosita M. Ferrer, from Administrative Assistant I to Administrative Assistant III; Juanito M. Gamundoy Jr., from Administrative Aide IV to VI; Zenaida R. Ancheta, from Administrative Aide IV to VI; Michael B.Sinio, from Administrative Aide III to IV; Cecilia C. Magat, from Administrative Aide III to VI; Juanito L. Eugenio, from Administrative Aide III to IV; Evelyn R. Perez, from Administrative Aide II to IV; Rico P. Teodoro, from Administrative Aide II to IV; Reynaldo P. Santillan, from Administrative Aide II to IV; Alejo E. Castro, from Construction and Maintenance Man to Administrative Aide IV; Estelita M.
