Food Technology and Research Center’s manual of operations under study
In yet another move to improve the Tarlac State University’s performance in various levelling and accrediting standards, President Myrna Q. Mallari has established a committee to study the manual of operations of the university’s Food Technology and Research Center.
The committee, which is tasked to “review and make suggestions for the improvement of the manual,” is chaired by Dr. Louella F. Ona, Vice President for Institutional Linkages and External Affairs.
The following make up the rest of the committee: Dr. Glenard T. Madriaga, Vice President for Administration and Finance; John Erwin C. Panlilio, Director of the Accounting Office; Dr. Erwin P. Lacanlale, Dean of the College of Education; and Prof. Mary Jane N. Rigor, Dean of the College of Science.
The production and review of the manual was proposed by Dr. Armee N. Rosel, Vice President for Research and Extension Service, “in conformity to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Certification of the University.”
After the manual’s review by the committee, it will be presented to the University Administrative Council and the Board of Regents for recommendation and approval, respectively.
FTRC’s establishment and the production of its manual of operations are expected to boost the university’s performance in SUC Levelling as well as in the Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA) and in the institutional and program accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
