TSU now eligible for 2017 PBB grant
The Tarlac State University is now eligible to receive the much-awaited 2017 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB).
This is according to Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Undersecretary Laura B. Pascua, who also chairs the Technical Working Group of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems, also known as “AO25” because it was created by then President Benigno Aquino III through Administrative Order No. 25 s. 2011.
In a letter to TSU President Myrna Q. Mallari dated October 5, Undersecretary Pascua said that “(b)ased on the re-evaluation of the physical accomplishments of TSU, the Commission on Higher Education’s Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (CHED-OIQAG) rectified its previous assessment/observation.”
Citing CHED-OIQAG, she said TSU “met it targets” and thus “is now eligible for the grant of the FY 2017 PBB.” [Office of Public Affairs and Information]
