2 TSU grads join top 10 in CPA Board

Two graduates of the Tarlac State University landed in the top 10 of the October 2018 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination.
Ms. Aubrey Nicole David Jimenez and Mr. Samuel Joshua Cortez Tongol, who both graduated from TSU in 2018 with Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degrees, placed sixth (rating: 90%) and seventh (89.83%), respectively, in this year’s CPA Board Exam.
This was announced by the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) through its website at www.prc.gov.ph.
Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, during a flag ceremony held today, congratulated Ms. Jimenez, Mr. Tongol and the faculty of the TSU College of Business and Accountancy.
She said the two will receive an award of P40,000 each from the university. [OPAI]
