TSU celebrates Year-End Thanksgiving

The Tarlac State University celebrated its holiday season Thanksgiving party last December 15, 2017 at the TSU gymnasium. Officials, personnel, employees and students joined together in a grand celebration which featured tons of raffle prizes, gifts, goodies and food to usher in the Yuletide cheer.

TSU President Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari spearheaded the activity. In her opening remarks, she thanked all the employees and personnel of the University for their hard work, industry and perseverance during the year. “It was truly a fruitful year for the University,” she said.

The celebration saw several offices, units and colleges performing musical numbers on stage to the delight of the holiday crowd.

No less than the Governor of the Province of Tarlac, the Honorable Susan Yap was on hand to join the celebration. The lady Governor addressed the TSU community and thanked the administration for their continued support for the projects of the Provincial government. As a token, Governor Yap handed to Dr.Mallari on behalf of the Provincial Government, the keys to a brand new Hyundai Coaster vehicle for the use of the University.

More prizes were raffled off at the end of the program and everybody left with cheers and smiles on their faces.- Kharen V. Salonga
