Chevening Scholarship Visits TSU  

            United Kingdom-based scholarship awarding scheme Chevening visited Tarlac State University for the presentation of scholarship opportunities in the UK on September 15.

            Ms. Natalie Keen, member of the Communications and Public Diplomacy Team of the British Embassy in Manila, oriented the TSU faculty, staff and students regarding the scholarship program of Chevening.

            Ms. Keen discussed eligibility criteria, procedure in the application for the scholarship,   and the duration of the scholarship program.

            This year, Chevening aims to send the most diverse group and targets to obtain more applications in the Tarlac area.

            Mr. Christian Yap, a former scholar of the Chevening and a Tarlaqueño, testified on how the scholarship program helped him in his career.

            Applications for 2017-2018 Chevening Scholarships will be open to applicants until 12:00 GMT on November 7 2017. (Ruth Hazel A. Galang - OPAI)
