TSU Confers Sen. Bam Aquino Honoris Causa, Dr. of Humanities Degree

As part of the ceremony in the 28th Commencement Exercises on June 14 at the TSU Gymnasium, Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Cojuangco A. Aquino III was conferred with a Doctorate in Humanities, Honoris Causa.
Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, together with the other TSU key officials, awarded the degree to Sen. Aquino.
Sen. Aquino is the author and sponsor of Senate Bill No. 1304 or the “Free Higher Education for All Act, which enables financially disadvantaged but deserving students to obtain tertiary educations through tuition subsidies and financial assistance to SUCs.
Sen. Aquino was also the key speaker during the graduation rites the same day. (Ruth Hazel A. Galang - OPAI)
