According to Dr. Ligaya S. Salangsang, Head of the TSU Sports Development and Management Unit, this success was attained through lots of preparation and support from the TSU Administration.

Several adjustments and changes were made during the past year, from the year-round training to classifying teams according to their performance.

Teams in winnable sports were prioritized, while others, dubbed as “training teams” or “Team Bs”, were given training time until they qualified for the annual event. This enabled officials to maximize the strength of our competing teams and athletes.

Notably, this year’s performance has brought the most number of golds in the history of TSU. 32 TSUians will join the SCUAA III (Central Luzon) delegation for the National SUC Olympics.

“Tuloy natin hanggang sa makalapit tayo sa Bulsu. Yun ang goal natin. With the help of everyone and the TSU community, it is possible,” Dr. Ligaya said.

The National SUC Olympics will be held on February 17 onwards in Batangas. (Ruth Hazel A. Galang - OPAI)
