TSU-URO conducts Capability Building Seminar and MOA Signing with APCoRe
24th of November, 2016, TSU Main AVR - The University Research Office took part in keeping up with emerging trends in the international research arena, as it hosted another Capability Building Seminar on Research Writing and International Presentation and Publication, attended by respected deans, college research chairpersons and faculty researchers of TSU.
The event took place thru the efforts of the University in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators (APCoRE) Inc. where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
Dr. Matthew A. Eichler, the chairperson of APCoRE provided the day long lecture on advanced tips in research presentations and publications. He also provided workshops on research writing and enhancing technical writing especially on methodological aspects of researches. After the lecture/workshop, a MOU was provided.
APCoRE is a membership-based professional organization of individuals, institutions and organization, committed and focused on the development of research, knowledge, and academic values in the Asia Pacific Region, parallel to the vision of our University to be the premiere University in the Asia-Pacific.
The event was concluded with Dr. Leo P. Piao, Director of URO, providing the closing remarks. Dr. Piao supported and encouraged faculty researchers to keep up the quality outputs they share to the university as well as to the community. (Bryan Jan S. Dizon - URO)
