TSU participates in Bloodletting activity  

            With the Tarlac General Macabulos Lions Club and Isagani Lodge No. 96 F. & A.M. as the primary organizers and sponsors, students and alumni of Tarlac State University joined a Mass Blood Donation Project held at the TSU Engineering Pavilion on September 16, 2016.

      The activity was done in cooperation with the Philippine Red Cross – Tarlac Chapter, Red Cross Youth Council – TSU, and student organizations, fraternities and sororities from TSU.

            According to Ms. Beth Canlas, Acting President of the Tarlac General Macabulos Lions Club, the bloodletting activity is an annual event by their organization and is usually being held during September with TSU as the venue.

            “Kapag nakakapag-share kami ng dugo, nakakagaan ng loob kasi madami kang natutulungan,” Ms. Canlas said.

            The bags of blood that were collected will be given to the Philippine Red Cross and to be distributed to recipients anywhere in the country. (Ruth Hazel A. Galang - OPAI)
