TSU Performing Arts brings home 5 championship trophies from Russia

The Tarlac State University’s (TSU) Performing Arts recently came home with five championship trophies in their recent competition at the World Artistic Dance Competition in Moscow, Russia.

Fourteen students from TSU won in the World Cup Ethno Dance Competition for their Tinikling and Salip Banga Kalinga Wedding Dance, World Cup Traditional Dance Competition for their Uyaoy Bumaya, Maglalatik and 1st Runner-up for Ragragsakan, World Cup Synchronized Dance Competition for Bumayah and 1st Runner-up for their Binasuan.

The TSU-Performing Arts is comprised of the following: Mark Anthony Baking, Mark Vincent De Guzman, Mark Celvin Garcia, Laica Mae Lacson, Angelo Linsey, Glaire Ann Lorenzo, Nathalie Kate Pamintuan, Renz Joseph Perez, Elgine Puri, Hedda Andre Sanchez, Alyssa Nicole Serrano, Julius TJ Serrano, Rebouy Supnet and Michelle Tongol.

None other than the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines to the Russian Federation Carlos Sorreta gave the TSU delegation a Certificate of Recognition “for their outstanding participation and representation of the Philippines at the World Artistic Dance Competition in Moscow, Russia.

The students were assisted by Vice-President for Student Affairs Dr. Armee Rosel, Dean for Student Affairs  Rex Igoy and Prof. Marcelino Balangquit, Director for Culture and Arts.
