TSU Granted Authority to Operate Transnational Programs
Tarlac State University received recently Government Authority to offer five (5) new programs in its list of academic offerings. In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”, and by virtue of Resolution No. 009-2015 of the Commission of Higher Education (CHED), Government Authority (GA No 002, Series of 2015) was granted to the Tarlac State University to operate the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master in Business Administration, Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, Doctor of Education and Doctor in Public Administration. The new offerings strengthen the Transnational Education Program of the University, one of the main thrust of the Administration to make TSU a globally competitive educational institution.
Commission on Higher Education Chair, Patricia B. Licuanan, Ph.D., signed and issued the Government Authority last February 11, 2015. TSU officials, led by Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, were elated with the latest issuance by CHED. Tarlac State University is now the first among State Colleges and Universities in the entire Philippines to receive such an authority.
