TSU Professor wins International Research Award 2013
Dr. Rodrigo M. Sicat, Professor IV and the Director of the Tarlac State University Testing Center, was awarded Outstanding Research Leader of the Philippines 2013 by the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) on January 21-23, 2013 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.
IAMURE is an international organization that is ISO 9001:2008 as certified by the Anglo-Japanese-American Registrars Inc.
The award, given during the International Conference in Higher Education Research (ICHER 2013) sponsored by IAMURE, was in connection with Dr. Sicat’s collaborative leadership in establishing research involvement among various sectors of the country.
At the same time, Dr. Sicat was awarded Diamond Award (First Prize) for his research presentation entitled “Carbon Dating the Image of Apo Sto Cristo de Lubao: From Oral History to Scientific Inquiry” which was recognized for its novelty and scholarship. The research paper earned positive critiques from the highly selected participants around the world during the international conference.
