The TSU Pollution Control and Safety Unit (PCSU) is encouraging everyone to ๐ผ๐ฏ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ.
๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ก- for Biodegradable waste (leftover food, fruit and vegetable peelings, rotten fruits and vegetables)
๐๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ก- for Non-biodegradable waste (non-recyclable materials such as broken glass, plastic cups, bags and wrappers)
๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ก- for recyclable waste (glass, plastic bottles, empty cans)
๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ข๐ช ๐๐๐ก- for infectious waste (disposable gloves, disposable face mask and used tissue paper)
Practicing proper waste segregation and proper handling of infectious healthcare wastes, such as used face masks and gloves which are considered special wastes, will help stop the spread of COVID-19.
