Celebration of the 2014 Annual 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAWC)

In line with the observance of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women with the theme “End VAW Now. It’s Our Duty!”, the office of Gender and Development will undertake the following activities:

  • Launching of the 18-day campaign in the university during the flag ceremony on November 25, 2014
  • T-Shirt Campaign

-          Wearing of Orange T-shirt every 25th of the month of November and any day from November 25 to December 12, 2014

  • Orange the Philippine Campaign (Online and Social Media Campaign)

-          Participation of all employees and students in the online campaign thread

-          Changing of Facebook and twitter display into orange and cover photo (any photo supporting the campaign on violence against women and children) throughout the campaign period

-          Use the hash tags #endVAWph #endVAWtsu

  • Uploading of the Official logo and link the Campaign video from PCW website to the TSU website and in the LED TV in each campuses use for information dissemination. (Philippine Commission on Women)
  • Streamer/Campaign at the 3 campuses

-          Hanging of the campaign materials in the Main, Lucinda, and San Isidro Campuses.

  • RA 9262 VAWC Seminar and Forum
  • Poster Making Contest (On-the-Spot) – November 21, 2014

-          Participation of every college in the said activity, at least 1 entry per college

-          Entries would be posted in the campus throughout the campaign.

 

                The participation of all TSU officials, personnel, and students are strongly encouraged.
