BS Mathematics Objectives

Provide opportunity for students with interest in mathematics to pursue a degree in the fileds of Mathematics;
Provide the program the opportunity to grow into a full blown course by producing graduates in the fields of Mathematics;
Increase the program offerings of the College of Science in sciences and mathematics in order to provide a wide selection of course offerings for incoming freshmen, shifters, and transferees; and
Be able for the college to offer other programs or specialization with the BS Mathematics as the core program in keeping with the demands of industry, business, IT and other fields where the core language is mathematics.
